The Origin
Why CivicLedger Exists
CivicLedger was born from a simple frustration — the information gap between politicians and the people they represent. Campaign promises disappear the moment the election ends. Voting records are buried in government databases. Donor information is scattered across dozens of sites. Most people don't have the time to piece it all together.
We built CivicLedger to close that gap. Every promise tracked. Every vote documented. Every score calculated from public record only. From the President of the United States to your local school board member — the same standard, the same accountability.
We launched in Miami Gardens, Florida — a city of over 110,000 residents that deserves the same level of civic transparency as any major American city. The August 18, 2026 primary is our proof of concept. Everything after that is expansion.
