Tommy Ruzzano

Tommy Ruzzano serves as Commissioner for Seat 4 on the City of Margate Commission in Margate, Florida, a nonpartisan office to which he was elected and most recently reelected with 62 percent of the vote. Prior to and during his time on the commission, Ruzzano has been a Margate business owner and a Florida state-licensed general contractor with over 20 years of experience in building and development in South Florida. He attended Miami-Dade Junior College and the University of South Florida. Ruzzano has served as Mayor of the City of Margate and currently serves on the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency and the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center District boards. Born and raised in Middlesex County, New Jersey, he has lived in Margate since 2002 and has been a consistent advocate for the city's redevelopment efforts, including the City Center Project.
