Cristina Eveillard serves as City Commissioner for Seat 4 of the City of West Park, Florida, a nonpartisan office she attained on November 5, 2024. Her landmark election made history, making her the first native of San AndrΓ©s Island elected to public office in the United States, as well as the first resident from the Miami Gardens subdivision to serve on the commission. Emigrating to the U.S. on June 15, 1985, she graduated in the top 50 of her class from North Miami High School in 1989 and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida International University (FIU) in 1995. Professionally, Eveillard is a versatile entrepreneur. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker with DBPR running JC Realty Group, a Certified Tax Preparer, a Notary Public, and an Insurance Broker serving as Marketing Director for PHP Agency, Inc. Her long-standing civic footprint includes founding a local Boy Scout troop at Watkins Elementary in 2009, serving as PTA President, and leading the Miami Gardens Homeowners Association in 2017. Driven by a goal to ensure transparent municipal management, Eveillard ran for Mayor in 2020 and for commission in 2022 before securing her current seat. Since taking office, she has been a central figure in local governance reform, allying with commission colleagues to form a voting majority focused on rigorous municipal checks and balances.
