Luis Rimoli

Luis Rimoli serves as a City Commissioner for the City of Dania Beach, Florida, a nonpartisan municipal office to which he was elected on November 5, 2024. His transition into public office was deeply personal; following the tragic passing of his husband, long-time local civic leader Bill Harris, Rimoli stepped into community governance, serving on the Dania Beach Planning and Zoning Board before winning his seat on the City Commission. Professionally, Rimoli brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the high-end hospitality, destination management, and meeting planning industries. He is the Owner and President of Staged Right Events, FETCHbranding, and SRE Travel Club, companies that have partnered heavily with national hotel chains—including Marriott, Embassy Suites, and Residence Inn—across major markets in South Florida, Atlanta, Charlotte, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Running on a platform of transparency, structural integrity, and neighborhood preservation, Rimoli serves as a positive voice for local business owners and residents alike. Alongside his commission duties, he represents the city regionally as the first alternate director to the Broward League of Cities.
