Allison Patton

Allison Patton serves as the City Council President representing District 6 on the Pensacola City Council, a nonpartisan local government role to which she was elected in November 2022. She brought extensive private-sector expertise to the dais following a distinguished 32-year career in the financial services industry, culminating in her role as a Managing Director and Head of Retail Litigation for Morgan Stanley. Patton completed her higher education at Georgia State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Juris Doctor, cum laude. Following her corporate retirement in 2020, she transitioned into legal education and civic leadership, serving as an adjunct professor in the Florida State University College of Law Juris Master program. Her deep community roots in Pensacola include serving as Vice President of the Pensacola Community Music School board, co-chairing the Legal Services subcommittee of the Northwest Florida Homelessness Reduction Task Force, and actively participating in IMPACT 100. On the City Council, where her peers elected her Council President, Patton leverages her financial and legal acumen to oversee large budgets and champion infrastructure modernization. Her active legislative platform emphasizes expanding affordable housing, supporting local entrepreneurs, preserving downtown green spaces, and ensuring responsible, transparent urban growth for Pensacola families.
