Jared Moore

Jared Moore is a nonpartisan City Council Member representing District 4 on the Pensacola City Council, first elected in November 2018 and currently serving his second term. Prior to his council service, Moore was a third-generation family business owner and a lifelong resident of Pensacola with roots in the local community. He earned his undergraduate degree from Samford University and his master's degree from the University of West Florida. Moore has served as President of the Pensacola City Council, providing legislative leadership for the body during his tenure. His district encompasses parts of East Hill and Cordova Park on the east side of Pensacola. In November 2025, Moore announced he would not seek a third term, with his seat set to appear on the 2026 ballot.

The Pensacola City Council is the legislative branch of the City of Pensacola's municipal government, composed of eight single-member district seats. Council members are responsible for adopting the city budget, enacting local ordinances, setting policy, and providing oversight of city operations and services.
