Cindy Orlinsky

Cindy Orlinsky is a nonpartisan elected Commissioner representing Seat 2 and currently serving as Vice Mayor for the City of Aventura, Florida. She first attained office after winning a competitive special election on November 5, 2024, to fill a vacancy. Prior to holding elected office, she built a highly successful career as an attorney, entrepreneur, and licensed broker-associate with Douglas Elliman Real Estate, where she founded the luxury and commercial brand house&hive. She holds an MBA and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center. Orlinsky has also served as President of Ellie's Army Foundation, reflecting a record of community public service spanning more than 20 years. Her platform centers on public safety, expanding local school capacity, and managing sustainable municipal development. Heading into the November 3, 2026 election cycle, Vice Mayor Orlinsky has officially filed paperwork to seek re-election to her Seat 2 position.
