Antonio V. Arserio

Antonio V. Arserio serves as Mayor of the City of Margate, Florida, a nonpartisan elected office he first attained in November 2018 and for which he was re-elected to a second term on November 8, 2022. Prior to his election to the Margate City Commission, he served as a member of the City's Planning and Zoning Board, building local government experience in land use and community development. His formal educational background includes professional credentialing through the Florida Redevelopment Association, from which he earned the FRA-RP designation as a Redevelopment Professional. In 2023, Arserio was recognized by the Florida League of Cities with a Home Rule Hero Award for his advocacy efforts during the 2023 Legislative Session on behalf of Florida's municipal governments.
