Taxpayer Protection — No Tax Increases
Economy & Taxes
✓ Kept
"I have proudly signed the Americans for Tax Reform's Taxpayer Protection Pledge where I promised you, the voter, that I will always oppose any and all efforts to increase the marginal income tax rates for individuals and or businesses."

Cammack signed the Americans for Tax Reform Taxpayer Protection Pledge prior to her 2020 election, committing to oppose any and all efforts to increase marginal income tax rates. In July 2025, she voted for H.R.1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which passed the House 218–214 on July 3, 2025, and was signed into law by President Trump on July 4, 2025. The legislation permanently extended the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act individual tax rates that were set to expire at the end of 2025, preventing what would have been the largest automatic tax increase in U.S. history. Cammack explicitly framed her vote as preventing higher tax rates for more than 452,000 taxpayers in FL-03. This vote directly fulfills her ATR pledge commitment and demonstrates consistent action aligned with her no-tax-increase promise through the 119th Congress.

TikTok Divestiture from Chinese Ownership
Government Reform
✗ Broken
"There has to be an absolute pure divestiture from mainland China, from ByteDance."
Gov. Record View Source ↗
In March 2025, Cammack publicly opposed the proposed TikTok-Oracle arrangement alongside Rep. Moolenaar, demanding a complete, 'pure divestiture' from ByteDance and Chinese ownership with no partial restructuring. Despite this position, on December 18, 2025, ByteDance signed a deal establishing TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC, with the transaction formally closing January 22, 2026. Under the final deal, an Oracle-led consortium (Oracle, Silver Lake, MGX) controls 45%, existing ByteDance investors hold ~35%, and ByteDance itself retains 19.9% ownership — directly contrary to the zero-ownership standard Cammack demanded. There is no public record of Cammack successfully blocking or renegotiating the deal to meet her stated threshold, and no legislation mandating full divestiture has been enacted as of May 24, 2026.

Infant Born-Alive Protection Legislation
Healthcare
◐ Partial
"I will fight to ensure that every child born alive after an abortion receives the same medical care as any other newborn."
Gov. Record View Source ↗
Cammack initiated Discharge Petition No. 1 on April 14, 2021, in the 117th Congress to force a floor vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (H.R.619), bypassing the Committee on Rules. The bill did not advance to enactment during the 117th or 118th Congresses. In the 119th Congress, H.R.21 — the same legislation — passed the full House 217–204 on January 23, 2025, a significant milestone reflecting Cammack's years of advocacy. However, the Senate companion bill (S.6) failed to achieve cloture on January 22, 2025, blocked by Senate Democrats short of the 60-vote threshold. As of May 24, 2026, the legislation has not been enacted into law, leaving this promise partially fulfilled at the chamber level but unmet at the federal law level.

National Defense Authorization — Military Readiness Funding
Economy & Taxes
✓ Kept
"Our Armed Forces must have the necessary resources to keep our nation safe, and I'm glad this NDAA takes the proper steps to put our readiness first."
Gov. Record View Source ↗
Cammack has voted in favor of every annual National Defense Authorization Act from FY2022 through FY2026. Key votes include: H.R.2670 (FY2024 NDAA, October 2023), H.R.8070/H.R.5009 (FY2025 NDAA, June and December 2024), and the FY2026 NDAA (House passage December 10, 2025), for which she secured nine of her own amendments including provisions to strengthen National Guard readiness, secure defense and medical supply chains, and bolster cybersecurity. Her official press releases for each vote confirm these actions and demonstrate a consistent, unbroken record of supporting annual defense authorization legislation across the 117th, 118th, and 119th Congresses.
