Miami Gardens resident since the city's incorporation in 2003. Founded her own medical practice in 2004. Launched Wellness Wednesdays in 2017 — a free health education program for seniors. Miami Gardens Elected to Council Seat 3 in August 2024 with 62% of the vote defeating incumbent Shannan Ighodaro. Hosts bi-monthly Walk and Talk with the Doc at Bunche Park and Scott Park. Hosts a live podcast Healthy You every Wednesday. Holds a D.O. and M.P.H. degree.
