Ray Garcia

Ray Garcia is a councilmember for the Town of Miami Lakes, Florida, representing Seat 2. He was elected in the November 2024 general election. Garcia is a long-time Miami Lakes resident and community advocate who has been involved in local civic affairs. Prior to taking office, he was active in neighborhood associations and local business circles in the Miami Lakes area.

A Miami Lakes Town Councilmember serves as part of the legislative body of the town, responsible for enacting ordinances, approving the municipal budget, setting local tax rates, and overseeing town services. The council operates under a council-manager form of government, where the council sets policy direction and the town manager handles day-to-day administration. Each councilmember represents the entire town on an at-large basis from a designated seat.
