Reinaldo Rey

Reinaldo Rey Jr. serves as Group 7 Commissioner for the City of Sweetwater, Florida, a nonpartisan municipal office to which he was elected and has won re-election, most recently in May 2023 with approximately 65% of the vote against challenger Rolando Mendez. He has also served in the capacity of Commission President during his tenure on the Sweetwater City Commission. He studied at the College of Business and Technology-Flagler in Miami. Rey has demonstrated consistent electoral support from Sweetwater residents, successfully defending his seat against opposition in multiple election cycles. He continues to serve as a representative for Group 7 constituents in one of Miami-Dade County's smaller municipalities.
