Yvette Colbourne

Yvette Colbourne is a Commissioner for the City of Miramar, Florida, representing Seat 2, serving in a nonpartisan capacity and first elected to office in 2013. Prior to her current role, she worked as a county administrator, bringing professional public administration experience to local elected office. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, as well as an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Miami-Dade College. Colbourne has served four times as Vice Mayor of Miramar and has consistently focused her legislative efforts on quality of life improvements, diversity advocacy, and the overall well-being of the city under the banner of 'One Miramar.' She is an alumna of the Good Government Initiative, reflecting her longstanding commitment to civic leadership and public service excellence.
