Joseph Geller

Joseph Geller is a Florida attorney and former Democratic State Representative who served in the Florida House of Representatives representing parts of Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. He won the District 3 School Board seat in November 2024 defeating incumbent Martin Karp. District 3 covers coastal communities in northeast Miami-Dade including Miami Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, and North Miami Beach. Geller has a long record of public service and progressive advocacy in South Florida.

Elected School Board Member representing District 3 of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Responsible for setting district-wide education policy, approving the annual budget, and representing the interests of students, parents, and educators in the coastal northeast communities of Miami-Dade County.
